- The site loads with no analytics running. Nothing is written to your browser yet. Every page reads in full.

- We remember
- Your answer is stored for a year, then we ask again. Clear the cookie and the panel returns on your next visit.
Cookies that always run
These keep the site working. They cannot be switched off, and they carry no advertising value.

- Stores the choice you made in the consent panel, plus the day you made it. Lifetime: 12 months.
- Server session
- Keeps the page request safe and blocks abuse of the site itself. Lifetime: until you close the browser.
Cookies that wait for your answer
Analytics cookies load once you press allow. Refuse, and none of them are written at all.
- Page measurement
- Counts which pages get read, so we can cut the ones that do no work. Lifetime: up to 13 months.
- Visit grouping
- Tells a fresh visit apart from a returning one. It is a count, not a name. Lifetime: until you close the browser.
What we skip
We run no advertising or retargeting cookies on this site. We buy media for clients, not for our own pages. If that ever changes, the cookie appears in the list above first. It stays off until you accept it.
Some pages may embed outside content, such as a video. That service can set its own cookie. We load such content only after you allow analytics, and we name the service beside it.
Your browser is the master switch
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Look under privacy in settings. Blocking all cookies will break parts of most sites, not only ours.
You can also send a global privacy signal from your browser. We treat it as a refusal of analytics. You do not need to press anything on the panel for that to hold.

- How do I change my answer?
- Delete this site's cookies in your browser. The panel asks again on your next visit, and your new answer replaces the old one.
- Do you sell any of this?
- No. The counts stay with us. We read them to improve our own pages, and nothing leaves for a data broker.
- What happens if I refuse?
- Nothing breaks. Every page, form and link works the same. You simply do not appear in our page counts.
